  Milan,
as you can see from the message, there will be vigil protesting
the nazis bastard, Bill Clinton, at the Hummingbird Centre next
Monday evening, coninciding with a speech he is to deliver on
"human rights". I won't miss this for anything, and I hope can come
out as well. If you can make it out, and want to hook up before it's
starts, let me know. Otherwise, we should get together again for
some drinks, hit a club, or something...I hope summer continues
to go well. talk to you soon...

<< Nonviolent Vigil of Remembrance for the Victims of Clinton's Wars
 Monday, June 25, 7-9 pm
Hummingbird Centre, corner of Front Street and Yonge St.

As Bill Clinton receives $100,000 to talk of human rights, join us to
remember the millions of victims of his policies: the one-million-plus
Iraqis who have been killed by U.S.-led sanctions and bombings, the
hundreds of thousands of Rwandans murdered during Clinton's watch, the
thousands killed by bombing of the Balkans (and those yet to die of cancer
from depleted-uranium ammunition), the millions of poor Americans plunged
deeper into poverty when Clinton "ended welfare as we know it", the
environment of the planet, which was wounded far more gravely by Clinton
policies than by those of Reagan-Bush, and so many more.

 **************
60 Minutes: "A half million children have died [as a result of sanctions
against Iraq]...more children than died in Hiroshima. And is the price
 worth it?
Clinton Secretary of State Albright: "I think this is a very hard choice,
but the price, we think the price is worth it."
 *************
"We're not inflicting pain on these fuckers," Clinton said softly at first.
"When people kill us, they should be killed in greater numbers." Then, with
his face reddening, his voice rising, and his fist pounding his thigh, he
leaned into Tony [Lake, then his national security advisor], as if it was
his fault. "I believe in killing people who try to hurt you. And I can't
believe we're being pushed around by these two-bit pricks." Bill Clinton,
on ordering the bombing of civilian targets in Somalia, as quoted in All
 Too Human, George Stephanopoulos.
