Dear Editor,

At the bottom of this post please find the last two paragraphs of your
editiorial, Triangular Diplomacy, which suggested that the Bush
administration use more tact in implementing star wars and expanding Nato. I
think the issue could have been stated differently, for example:

"Moscow and Beijing are beginning to understand that NATO's 1999 aggression
against Yugoslavia, undertaken to punish that country's hesitance to kneel
before New World Order, will be visited on them, too, once free market
economics completes its appointed task of rendering their societies
appropriately dysfunctional and helpless.

America's insatiable death merchants have directed their patrician,
not-even-elected marionettes to transmute much of its wealth into "weapons
systems" that are futile and destabilizing. It's time to rise up, smite
them, and consign these parasites to the far corner of hell. Otherwise,
these blood-drenched vampires will blandly continue to recreate the
humanitarian vistas of Verdun, Hiroshima, Tonkin Gulf, and their ongoing
atrocities against Yugoslavia and the people of the Middle-East.

Thank you."

" Moscow and Beijing were unsettled by NATO's 1999 intervention in
Kosovo, undertaken to protect ethnic Albanians from persecution by
their Serbian rulers. They fear that similar arguments could one
day be invoked against Chinese policies in Tibet or Russian actions
 in Chechnya.

Though neither Russia nor China is a superpower, both are
important. When American policies affect their interests, as is the
case with missile defense and, for Russia, NATO expansion,
Washington should consult with them carefully and not simply
proceed according to its own preferences and timetable. Failure to
take Russia and China into account will fan dangerous resentments
and drive them away from Washington and toward each other."
