Hey guys,
I've been looking into some HBAs to use in an OpenSolaris/ZFS file server
project, and came across the Intel SASUC8I -
http://www.intel.com/products/server/raid-controllers/SASUC8I/SASUC8I-overview.htm

The SASUC8I sells for around US$180, has 2x MiniSAS ports, uses the well
supported LSI 1068E chip and going by the documentation, has IT (initiator
target) mode - meaning it will bypass any RAID features and simply expose the
disks to the operating system, so we can let ZFS weave its magic.

I have found very little info about these cards on the internet and am
wondering if anyone has had any experience with them on Solaris/OpenSolaris and
with ZFS?

I've purchased 2 of the SASUC8I's and when they arrive, will let you all know
how I went :)
