One of the devices created by Solaris in /dev/rmt is:

lrwxrwxrwx    1 root     root           68 Sep 20 23:44 8 ->
../../devices/iscsi/
[EMAIL PROTECTED],0:

This implies that the target is:
0000iqn.2006-09.com.kwv.rebdrive1194FFFF

and the lun is:
0

A 3rd party application must define these devices in the regular format of:

Example:------
name="mt" class="scsi"
target=6 lun=0;
name="mt" class="scsi"
target=7 lun=0;
------

However, the device does not have a regular target ID and as such the 3rd party
driver does not work... any way around this ?

Aliases ?
