I'm attempting to write a Perl XS module for libdiskmgt.
Now, before you start saying "but it's a private, unsupported, etc etc library" ... yes, I know. But it's useful for my project. Making a perl module for it would make it even more useful.
Anyhow, getting descriptions for DM_SLICE and DM_PATH and so on is easy, but I'm having a devil of a time figuring out the format (eg: when using dm_get_descriptor_by_name() ) of *name when looking at DM_CONTROLLER and DM_BUS.
Is there anything short and sweet that someone can send my way which spells out what those strings should look like? Most existing "examples" seem to be in the WBEM code and I spent all of 2 minutes looking at that before becoming cross-eyed and nauseated and giving up.
