I agree, but it didn't seem to work.  I'm going to try to get a test system 
built tomorrow to run more diagnostics.  One technique I saw the Cisco iSCSI 
initiator stack using was setting the vfstab 'mount on boot' field to 'iscsi' 
and then adding an rc script which looked for all the mounts with that option 
and handled them.
