Hi, All

Sorry for my late on responding to this topic. I was not aware that AHCI was
discussed here in opensolaris forum.

This project is almost finished and is under its final test. Hopefully this
driver could be putback by the end of this year. In the first phase, AHCI
driver will support Intel ICH6 and VIA vt8251 chipsets; hotplug is also
supported.

But there are still many new features to develop, such as ATAPI, port
multiplier, NCQ, etc..., these features
will be in phase II. This project is alive and healthy, please be patient for
the putback.

Thank you all very much, especially thanks to Cyril. I really did not know what
was happening here...

If you need any further information, please feel free to send email to me:

Regards
Fir
