Hi,

SSFCP_OFFLINE_DELAY is fixed at 20 seconds and could not be changed.
FP_OFFLINE_TIMEOUT could be changed by setting fp_offline_ticker.
The default value of fp_offline_ticker is 90s, and the valid range is from 10s to 90s.
Hope this make things clear.

Regards,
Zhong

according to the infodoc 83639 which has a title with When cable is plugged out
from HBA a 110 second delay may be seen before device is offlined ,there are
two values SSFCP_OFFLINE_DELAY (default 20)and FP_OFFLINE_TIMEOUT (default
90)we can change. The sum of these two values determine the delay before devices
offline.our customer want to decrease the delay,so I add these two entries
set fp:fp_offline_ticker=20
set fcp:ssfcp_offline_delay=9
or
set fp:fp_offline_ticker=20
set fcp:fcp_offline_delay=9
at the end of the /etc/system.
the set fp:fp_offline_ticker=20 does work, but the other not.
it displays sorry, variable 'ssfcp_offline_delay' is not defined in the 'fcp'
module during the boot process.
so I want to know whether the ssfcp_offline_delay parameters still adjustable ?or has been changed to another name regards This message posted from opensolaris.org
