It means: when someday the FC target driver will be released and
someone will need to use both FC target and FC initiator on the same
box (for example, for bi-directional mirroring), the mandatory
requirement will be: different PCI IDs of 2 HBAs. And obviously no
possibility to use 1 dual-port HBA for this goal.
Correct me if I am wrong. By the way vendors are not ready to support
dev_id/subsystem_id changing at all.
BTW, my Q: what are the plans/forecast on FC target integration into nevada?
