I think I may have found another problem with this combination. The initiator was on a 32-bit Windows Vista system and the target was on a SPARC (SunBlade 100).
I attempted to use a raw connection to a Sony SMO-F561 optical drive loaded with read/write media having 4096 byte sectors. An attempt to format this media to UDF 2.50 was unsuccessful. Checking with WireShark it appears that the problem is that a READ(10), code 28H, of Logical Block Address 0 with a Transfer Length of 1 returns 512 bytes rather than 4096 bytes ... A quick look at '/usr/src/cmd/iscsi/iscsitgtd/t10_raw_if.c' shows a several '512' and '511' magic numbers. Could that be the source of the problem? -- John Connett _______________________________________________ storage-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/storage-discuss
