You'll need to run Solaris Express to get access to the target. The
target uses features of the OS which are not available in prior
releases.

Regarding work to to be done on the target. iSNS client support was
added, but not integrated yet. Work is underway on the SMF
configuration. There might not be for Sun Cluster Support as a
specific task. I'll let the folks from Sun fill in the details.

Hi Cyril,
Reg the info on iSCSI target which has been integrated in build 44, which was
almost a year ago.
I would like to know what are the current areas where there are scope for my
contributions, you have mentioned these 5 areas and also that the first 2 and
the last 2 have a greater priority,
• iSNS client support
• SMF configuration
• Persistent Reservation
• MC/S and ERL
• Sun Cluster Support

Currently I am working on Solaris 8 and I dont have a copy of the latest
updates i.e. Solaris 10 and the update including iSCSI Target.
So where can I start working on in order to develop a prototype or a model
which will be useful....
Are there any patches which I can install in my current Solaris 8 system to see
the code of what iSCSI Target is like?
