For Solaris 10 Update 3 or higher you can use the new mpathadm command to see the path states and more for a logical device. I believe the syntax is something like "mpathadm list lu" and then "mpathadm show lu /dev/rdsk/.....". For Solaris 10 Update 2 and previous use luxadm; "luxadm probe" and "luxadm display wwpn|/dev/rdsk......" Whether it works properly with mpxio depends on whether the clariion supports alua/tpgs. If it does support alua/tpgs and if that feature is enabled then for solaris 10 x86 it should just work. You can see right away if mpxio is handling your disk device paths by using luxadm or mpathadm. Also the devices listed in format should be scsi_vhci devices and not real hardware devices. BTW, mpxio is enabled by default for Solaris 10 on x86. Regards, Vic
