We have just posted a new source and package drop for the
CIFS client project. This code drop gives Solaris (Nevada) the
ability to mount CIFS shares with fairly complete functionality.
This code drop also offers improved stability and performance.

Please see the release notes (included in the binary tar file
and on the download page) for instructions, limitations, etc.
In particular, please note that the packages provided require
Solaris Nevada, build 64 or later. They will not run on Solaris 10.
