Are you saying: I get musch better perfomance with 3 unmanaged switches, instead of 1 expensive managed switch which supports LACP ?
I'm experiencing the same issue with link aggregation on a linksys srw24, only one interface seems to be receiving data at the same time, (tests with iperf only show 940 Mb/s) Are you using dladm create-aggr to setup the aggregates, or are you just using the "old fashion" IPMP link groups??
