Vipool- When you say PID, I assume you mean the FibreChannel destination 
ID (D_ID) of the target device.  Correct?

Can you say how you caused this - is it as simple as unplugging the 
device from the switch and plugging into another, or something else?

I'd recommend opening a bug on bugs.opensolaris.org.   If you can 
provide a way to reproduce this with common FC hardware, that would be 
helpful.
