Hey Afshin, in <a href="http://opensolaris.org/jive/thread.jspa?messageID=194393𯝙";>another thread</a>, it was suggested that my file system version might be < 3, and this was the case. Upon upgrading, my problems appear to have been solved.
Maybe setting the sharesmb property could do a check and ensure that the ZFS file system version is compatible, and if not report the error? Thanks for all your help.
