Hi All,

I'm using CIFS server on snv_81 in domain mode.

There's a problem setting ACLs from a Windows Client (XP Pro); when clicking
'Add' on the Properties/Security Dialog, only local (i.e. CIFS server)
user/groups can be selected, but none from AD.

"From This Location:" shows the CIFS server name and not the domain name (as it
does when setting ACLs e.g. on the local hard disk).

However, the already existing ACLs (SYSTEM and [EMAIL PROTECTED]) are displayed
correctly. I can even add an AD ACL to a directory on the solaris command line
(by using an AD group I pick from 'idmap dump') and it shows up correctly in
the Windows Security Dialog.

I also noticed, that the CIFS server does not show up when browsing 'My Network
Places', maybe these two effects are related?

Everything else works fine (joining the domain, id mapping, mounting,
reading/writing to the share etc.)

thanks for any hint!

regards,
Peter
