Hmm... after posting that I've just found out about "prtconf -v", under the 
iscsi settings there's a "scsi-reset-delay" field, set to 0x00000bb8, or 3000 
in decimal.

It's a bit of a wild guess, but if that's in tenths of a second that ties 
pretty well with the 5 minute delay I'm seeing.  Is that a parameter than can 
be adjusted?

I can also see that "tcp-nodelay" is set to 0, I'm pretty sure I've seen it 
mentioned that this should be 1?  http://blogs.sun.com/constantin/tags/solaris
