I honestly can't remember I'm afraid. It was a good few months ago and I don't
think I kept any notes once I found NFS was better for my needs.
There were many reasons I switched, problems getting it to work was one, the
horribly complex names used by ZFS iSCSI shares was another, then you have the
fact that NFS seems to be far more tried & tested, and the way NFS gives you
access to the raw files with the potential to use ZFS snapshots to back up
vmware machines.
