You might be able to gleen some info using the scsi.d dtrace script from here: http://blogs.sun.com/chrisg/page/scsi.d
I have not seen this type of error before. I would think that there might be a problem with a target and the upper layers send a target reset. Turn on the qlc driver extended logging and see what you get leading up to the scsi_vhci message.
