Where is your subnet manager? What kind of IB switch are you connecting these servers to?

This card is supported by the tavor(7d) driver in Solaris.

Do you see anything in boot messages (dmesg | grep tavor) indicating an error?

Hi all,

We are unable to get our Infiniband card activated

- we are using opensolaris B78 (but also tested solaris 10)
- IB card is Dual port Melanox MHEA28-1TC
- Motherboard is Tyan GT24-B3992-E
- PCI Express chipset is BCM5780

I installed the driver for bcme, networking is OK but ibd0 & ibd1 can not be plumbed.

We have same type of IB card working on supermicro board & dell 1950 but we can't get it working on this MB.

When we use fwflash to check firware , it segfaults because

/devices/[EMAIL PROTECTED],0/pci1166,132/

just does not exist, it seems for me that the PCI bus is not activated or something althought the device is correctly discovered if we check prtconf -v output (see below). I noticed the driver not attached message.

I installed dmidecode to check bios version:

SMBIOS 2.3 present.
61 structures occupying 2422 bytes.
Table at 0x000FB210.
Handle 0x0000
       DMI type 0, 20 bytes.
       BIOS Information
               Vendor: American Megatrends Inc.
               Version: 'V1.02.B10 '
               Release Date: 11/30/2007

We also tried to upgrade bios to latest available tyan firmware but here we get an incorrect ROM ID error message so we cannot upgrade.
