Sorry for the late reply. I actually just went & swapped the card for a Sil-based chipset. I got it to work fine now :) Thanks for the input!
The only issue I'm having now is thatm, upon boot, the system is still searching for the USB DVD-ROM from which I installed SXCE-89. I'm trying to figure out how to tell the system that the drive isn't there anymore. I guess I should have told SXCE to remove the device before I physically pulled it, heh.
