COMSTAR can support any number of LUNs per system (limited by host memory only). On a per Initiator-port/Target-port pair, you can export as many as 16384 LUNs. We have tested with 4096 LUNs on a Solaris initiator. I remember that the support of 4K LUNs on the initiator side on solaris was added recently. Maybe you are running into some initiator side issue. Can you tell me the OS version you are using on the initiator side ? Also I am hoping you are using the SXCE B90 (or later) on the target side. The packages that we used to have on the project page have not been updated in a long time (now they have been removed).
