I was away, so sorry for the delayed reaction.
Could you please describe how I can verify whether or not your mentioned
"packet timeout" occured on my sb700?
The behaviour in 64bit mode is as follows: the system boots, the bootloader get
activated, the os bootstraps and switches into 64bit and than the disk activity
leds remain lid and nothing happens.
If I force the system in 32bit by adding the appropriate to the bootloader it
boots as expected.
