did the trick. I'm able to log in, and mount it from Vista's iscsi initiator. However, linux's open-iscsi can log into the target but sd driver doesn't recognize the raw device. zvols and other stuff exported as disks work OK (they appear as /dev/sdx) but not with raw devices. A quick look at "man sd" in linux shows this: At this time, only block devices are provided. Raw devices have not yet been implemented. and it's dated 1992-12-17. So I guess raw is a no-go. Can it be exported as a block device somehow?
