Aaah, I should maybe have linked to my other thread.  I honestly don't
know if I'm using COMSTAR, this was a plain install of snv_103 from
the DVD I downloaded, and the targets were simply created with ZFS as
described here:

And the OS is installed on a local disk.  I've created four virtual
machines in ESX 3.5, they've got 1GB of RAM each, 15GB boot disks, and
three of them have 4GB data disks for messing around with iSCSI
targets.

It may be that the crash isn't related to iSCSI, I just thought it the
most likely cause with the errors on screen, and the fact that it
booted ok once the targets were coming online.  I'll grab the stack
trace tomorrow at work and send it over.
