Hi, I have an OpenSolaris snv_104, upgraded from snv_90. During the installation, my SATA controller (ICH9) was set in the BIOS to "Legacy". I would now like to switch it to AHCI, but am unable to (after changing the setting, my system starts booting, quickly flashes a message after grub and reboots). I see at release note 6520224 (http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/820-5245/gevps?a=view) that this is a known issue with Solaris 10/08, but was wondering if there is no tinkering I can do manually to resolve the issue.
