I asked this last year and came up with the Supermicro AOC-USAS-L8i which I bought but it turns out its a UIO card and doesn't work in my machine's normal PCI-e slots (anybody wanna buy an unused card? :) Anyway, I still need a disc controller that can do 8+ devices and costs < $200.
