Hi, I registered an RFE for the offline issue yesterday. Hopefully it will be addressed sometime soon.
Where I see an issue is when the target is offlined, it should be possible to add, remove and reconfigure any offline target. For example: itadm create-target -n iqn.2009.my.host:1.1 stmfadm offline-target iqn.2009.my.host:1.1 stmfadm remove-tg-member -g targetgroup1 iqn.2009.my.host:1.1 stmfadm add-tg-member -g targetgroup2 iqn.2009.my.host:1.1 stmfadm online-target iqn.2009.my.host:1.1 It would also be greate if we could do the following: itadm create-target -tg targetgroup2 -n iqn.2009.my.host:1.1 I think this is important from a usability perspective. It's hard say to a production customer that you have to disrupt all your storage consumers in order to add a new non-default target group member to the storage server.
