Scenario: I’m configuring the back-to-back VN_Port connection option between two snv_101 hosts over the e1000 device driver with the November FCoE binaries.
The target side configures successfully and is online and ready to go with a 1G link up established. The initiator side configures successfully without error however the port state remains offline and the link does not establish. Question: Does anyone have the same FCoE binaries and the FCoE initiator functioning over an e1000 driver with the back-to-back option. Actioning: I will build an Open-FCoE linux host and initiator as an additional tool to isolate where the issue lies but I am hoping someone can concur with my finding to avoid the time cycle.
