Hi Ben,

From a feature standpoint, the only new functionality is the iSER transport driver. As you probably saw the iSER putback included three bug fixes:

6797024 COMSTAR iscsit asserted at iscsit_login.c line: 679
6776635 panic[cpu0]/thread=ffffff000f874c60,assertion failed: 0, file:
../../common/io/idm/idm.c, line: 1465
6802232 Bad kernel fault at addr=0x0 from idm_crc32c call

Aside from these stability fixes there were no other iSCSI target enhancements.
Now that the initial iSER delivery is complete there is a lot more opportunity
to focus on some incremental improvements that will benefit both iSER and
sockets transports.

I'm excited to see the integration of iSER
(http://blogs.sun.com/danmas/en/entry/iser_integrated).

Given the tight/confusing inter-relationship of the IB/Ethernet iSCSI
Target developed in the iSER project, I'm curious if the integration
provides any changes or improvements for non-IB iSCSI Target users.
Or, more generically, can anyone be more specific about whats been
integrated that wasn't previously present?
