Thanks for the input, Ray. I'm constantly on watch for controllers with driver support, and I must say it's a mess! USB just seems so easy :)
Perhaps I'm thinking a bit too far into the future - which I tend to do with stuff. The technology is in constant development, and though 1.5TB harddrives yields most bang(i.e GB) for the buck, so did the 120GB disks six years ago! I suppose the server will be outdated before I manage to fill it up. Thanks again, Ray - maybe I should abandon the whole thought of basing my server on USB.
