I configured one of my hosts to act as a fibre channel target. After I enabled target mode in the emlxs.conf and presented a LUN to one of my hosts, the machine panicked and rebooted. Now each time the stmf driver loads, the box panics with the following string:
Apr 30 13:58:20 nutshell pseudo: [ID 129642 kern.info] pseudo-device: stmf0 Apr 30 13:58:20 nutshell genunix: [ID 936769 kern.info] stmf0 is /pseudo/s...@0 Apr 30 13:58:20 nutshell savecore: [ID 570001 auth.error] reboot after panic: mutex_enter: bad mutex, lp= ffffff02d67cf398 owner=ffffff00112b1c60 thread=ffffff000fca1c60 Apr 30 13:58:20 nutshell savecore: [ID 748169 auth.error] saving system crash dump in /var/crash/nutshell /*.1 If I disable target mode, the host doesn't panic. Has anyone seen anything similar to this? The host in question is a quad Core AMD Opteron w/ 8GB of RAM running Nevada build 110. The HBA I am using to test the target support is an Emulex LP1000DC. The machine is also FMA clean: bash-3.2# fmadm faulty -a bash-3.2# Thanks for any insight, - Ryan -- http://prefetch.net _______________________________________________ storage-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/storage-discuss
