Attempting to connect to a SXCE b113 comstar fc target with a Mac osx initiator.
A successful connection has been achieved through a series of reboots of the target and initiator machines but it has not been possible to identify a reliable sequence. The fibre HBA's are ATTO fc-42es on the initiator and Qlogic QLE2460 on the comstar target. On the target running: echo '*stmf_trace_buf/s' | mdb -k > stmftrace.txt There are these lines returned which may be of some interest: qlt0,0:0005555: fct_gft_cb: GFT_ID is not accepted by NS - icmd/ffffff03e360f5d0 qlt0,0:0005555: qlt_abort_sol_cmd: fctcmd-ffffff03e439d640, cmd_handle-80000003 A configuration utility on the initiator shows the comstar target, and the LUN's appear on the osx disk utility but attempting to 'Partition' the LUN result in the utility hanging.
