Nice setup!  You'll most certainly want to benchmark it using
FileBench.  Similar to IOmeter, it can do both micro and macro
benchmarking, as opposed to tools like Bonnie++ or IOzone which are
simply micro-benchmarks.

FileBench is all CLI and provides a variety of pre-defined workloads
which you can run.  FileBench will actually pre-create files
(hundreds/thousands, depending on your preference) and run the workloads
with elements of randomness to provide you with the closest "real"
numbers of any available tool.
