I am also beginning to wonder about the possibility of some kind of driver
issue. You'll notice that the hard drives are listed as cXdX instead of cXtXdX.
I can turn on AHCI in the bios for the Intel controller. The BIOS doesn't let
me turn it on for the Marvell controller, which has the DVD and OS drive
(rpool) on it. Is there a possibility of corruption with the PATA mode/driver?
I somehow doubt it.

The drives did come up with the cXtXdX notation/driver when the DVD drive was
on the first controller. It wasn't until I moved it to the Marvel controller
did it switch things around. You'll remember from the previous post that I had
to move the DVD drive to the last slot in the Marvel controller because the
last disk drive wouldn't otherwise get recognized.

I can turn AHCI on in the BIOS and try a scrub after the memory test finishes.
Could this even theoretically make a difference? Unless someone has a better
idea, I'll try this next.

I checked on the memory test earlier and it has completed two full tests
without any errors.
