I installed OSOL 2009.06 and set up CIFS. I want to share a pool I imported from another machine. I used chmod and chown. I can see the volume on the WinXP machine, but when I try to access it, I get access deneied. I had no problem with OSOL 2008.11. I would go back to 2008.11 except I updated my pool to ZFS version 14 and cannot revert to version 13.
