The new firmware on the 2540 was like some whole new product so I
doubt
that this old posting is applicable any more.
So with every CAM update you need to find a new recipe? Seems easier
to
just set the following in /etc/system:
set zfs:zfs_nocacheflush = 1
As Bob mentioned, this isn't always safe. As this is a global setting
in the ZFS driver, pools on disks that /should/ have caches explicitly
flushed will not have that. An example would be a ZFS root on local
disks.
