Hi, I would suspect you may have a disk firmware or controller firmware issue and not a driver problem. 5-6 hours of scrub is a real workout from the driver perspective. It sounds like your hitting a problem area of the disk or disk media and its resulting in a non-responsive state over the SAS bus. ioc_status=0x8048 is a cmd task aborted message. So I would think its more like a disk issue.
