Hey, I'm running OpenSolaris build 126 and I'm trying to test out a Sil3726 based port multiplier, which looks like it is supported by OpenSolaris. It appears that the controller card that comes with the port multiplier (Sil3132R5 based) may be supported by OpenSolaris but not for use with a port multiplier. I've got an ICH9R based motherboard, but it's a Dell and the Dell BIOS doesn't appear to have the options to enable port multipliers even though ICH9 should theoretically support port multipliers.
