Hi Jun, The COMSTARs stmfadm list-target -v admin utility call will not list an initiator that does not have a successful session established and this would be a normal way to code the function.
An iSCSI send targets response to an initiator discovery request will not create a session within the stmf state tables. That's more of a iSNS function which can collect and manage those requests but that is outside the scope of a target service. What are you trying to accomplish?
