Hi Guys I have two X4200m2 servers which are installed a single port connectX HCA card. The HCA interface is 40gb.I connect 2 x4200 with Voltaire 4036 infiniband switch. There are 2 dual core AMD 2.6Ghz CPU and 8GB memory in each server, and solaris express nv127.
I try to configure the infiniband HCA(which driver is hermon) and test the performance . I can see the link speed is 32000mbps with "dladm show-phys". It looks fine ,but When I try to use the iperf tool to test the performance of ibd interface ,I can only get the 400-500MB speed. Then I use the iozone to test the nfs with RDMA(server fs is tmpfs),I still can only get 400MB.It is too slow for me,I believe the QDR infiniband interface should be 4GB .Where is the wrong ?
