From what I saw http://www.learnfreenas.com/blog/ it looks like half of the 'Pros' for the move from FreeBSD to Linux can be summed up as "We're more familiar with Linux" (IMHO). That doesn't really help OpenSolaris supporters.

But the page also says the 'move' will actually be a new project, and the 'FreeNAS' project will live on with a new primary supporter.
