I have a windows server as AD, and want to add a solaris server to the domain, I can ping my domain, but join it failed.
The following is my config: -bash-3.2# cat /etc/resolv.conf domain cd.com nameserver 129.20.1.220 search 129.20.1.220 -bash-3.2# -bash-3.2# cat /etc/nsswitch.conf |grep hosts # "hosts:" and "services:" in this file are used only if the hosts: files dns -bash-3.2# -bash-3.2# smbadm join -u mcf cd.com After joining cd.com the smb service will be restarted automatically.
