Hello,
If a LU is in use and one attempts to offline it using:
stmfadm offline-lu 600144F048BF490000004B2172E10006
I have noticed that the status of the LU remains in a "offlining" state
for sometimes at least 20 seconds.
LU Name: 600144F048BF490000004B2172E10006
Operational Status: Offlining
After 20 seconds have passed the state changes from offlining to
offline.
What can be done to reduce the 20 seconds to say 1 or 2 seconds?
I have already blocked IO from the initiator by removing the iscsi
network interfaces on the comstar side which means to me that no further
traffic is reaching the target at the time of offlining the LU.
