I only found one related thread, from earlier this month, that seemed
unresolved in zfs-discuss, so forgive me if zfs specifics are beyond
the scope of this list, let me know and I'll move along!

In experimenting with an opensolaris server, build 129 (x86-64) I
created a 1T volume for comstar to export. When I was done with that
experiment, I removed the view, the lu, etc, and then performed zfs
destroy on the actual volume.

This hung the system. At first, it was just sluggish, but eventually
it became non responsive. I went to check on the machine, there was
no disk activity (based on observation of the disk light). So I
punched the reset button. Now the server is hung at Reading ZFS
Config... There is no disk activity. I can ping the machine, but it
will not answer ssh or vnc.

Is it time to reinstall (nothing much of interest on the machine), or
do I need to mess around in single user mode somehow?

Many Thanks,
Gordon
