Hi Giovanni, The (LSI) lsiutil has a function to show the mappings from bay to the solaris devices e.g. c7t0d0s0. I have used this on non-raid controllers, but I'm not sure if it works on the raid versions.
I have found the "slot" isn't fixed to the "bay" ie. the controller doesn't present the drives in strict physical order. If I move a drive between bays, the controller remaps it to maintain the device as it was.
