the only thing I know is that Adam Leventhal (a ZFS developer) wrote this in his reply in zfs-discuss: | RAID-Z will carve up the 8K blocks into chunks at the granularity of | the sector size -- today 512 bytes but soon going to 4K. my interpretation is that current builds don't support Advanced Format. -- Kjetil T.
