Sivanov,

I just looked at your stmf debug messages attached to last posting. It is
showing that COMSTAR is receiving a lot of reject messages from the switch’s
name server when attempting to register itself with the switch and when it
attempts to get information about the initiator port.

emlxs0:0004307: fct_link_init_cb: CT-0217 is rejected
emlxs0:0004407: fct_link_init_cb: CT-0218 is rejected
emlxs0:0004507: fct_link_init_cb: CT-0239 is rejected

emlxs0:0110104: fct_gft_cb: GFT_ID is not accepted by NS - icmd/ffffff02e7fa3dd0
emlxs0:0110104: fct_gcs_cb: GCS_ID is not accepted by NS - icmd/ffffff02e199cd50
emlxs0:0110104: fct_gspn_cb: GSPN_ID is not accepted by NS -
icmd/ffffff02e1f1b110
emlxs0:0110104: fct_gsnn_cb: GSNN is not accepted by NS - icmd/ffffff02e7fa2a50

Just based on this I suspect an issue with your switch. You might want to
verify the switch’s firmware. You can also log onto the switch and look at
the messages it is posting internally. Brocade may be able to help too. If
that doesn’t work I can verify the emlxs driver by looking at our driver’s
debug messages as described in my last posting.
