This happened again. As soon as I ran stmsboot, the adapters were gone! This appears to be a bug because I can't think of any other reason why they would appear in modinfo/prtdiag and not under luxadm/fcinfo. The driver is loaded. Rebuilding the device tree did not help either.
I am giving on OpenSolaris when storage is involved.
